The airport has four baggage handling areas to which luggage arrives. These areas are connected by a trunk-transportation system so that luggage can be easily moved between them and delivered to passengers. Things then go onto special belts, which are numbered, for the convenience of passengers. Each number will relate to a particular flight, which you will find on the electronic board.

The ‘West Zone’ is under the third Schiphol flight arrivals hall, Hall ‘E’ is under Pier ‘E’, Hall ‘D’ is under Pier ‘D’, and the ‘South Zone’ is in front of the air traffic control tower.
